This work tells a story about Su Shi, a literati from the Song Dynasty, aiming to revive the spirit and style of ancient Chinese scholars. It is a 360-degree panoramic VR film, in which we experimented with a stylized approach using ink painting for VR creation, with special attention to the design process for visual guidance.
The story is divided into four chapters, guiding viewers from the perspective of artifacts in a museum to the era behind them. This journey allows audiences to fully understand Su Shi from various aspects, including his childhood experiences, aspirations, and involvement in wars, thus experiencing the challenges he faced throughout his life.

This work was a collaborative effort with Shuyue Li, Ziyi Yang, Qianyu Zhang. Thanks to them, we pushed forward this daydream creation and completed this work on time. We spent a month planning the script , modeling and rendering the film. Although the final product is simple, it is my rare CVR film creation in my undergraduate study.
