The core of this project is the digital reconstruction and preservation of Yunnan's intangible cultural heritage. Our main work involves the digital collection, motion capture, and interviews with inheritors of ten types of ICH dances. Additionally, we plan to create a database of ICH dance movements and an immersive system for choreographing dance performances creatively.

This project was jointly completed with Huifeng Zhang, Fengyi Yan, Siyu Luo mainly. Some of them devoted themselves to improvisational dance research and gave a lot of help. We initiated a series of works at the Yunnan Innovation Institute, highlighting that digital preservation efforts still require much more dedication and work.
