My research interests include Immersive Media (MR/VR/AR), Interaction Design, and User Experience Research. My current research is mainly designing interaction methodologies to bridge the gap between the virtual and real world. My goal is to facilitate a more natural and seamless experience for users.

Yunnan Minority Dance Digital Performance Creativity and Display System Based on VR
Participated in advisor’s project (National Key Research and Development Program of China)
Focused on digitalization, creative choreography, display, and popularization of ten kinds of ICH dances.
Responsible for dance motion capture, character modeling, and binding skeletons. Interviewed dance inheritors and collected more than 300 materials at Beihang University Yunnan Innovation Institute.
My undergraduate graduation research was based on this project, exploring ICH Dance in the Combination of Virtual and Reality Interaction Design – Taking Bronze-Drum Dance for Example.

Participated in advisor’s fund project (China National Arts Fund, National Natural Science Foundation of China)
Focused on embodied and participatory experience of Chinese traditional oral performance.
Mainly responsible for avatars and animation design. Completed the iterative prototype design and conducted a user study. Modified the second version paper and drafted software patent application.
